The L.E.G.R.D ( Latex Examination Glove Removal Device), is a new and innovative way to safely remove latex gloves without touching the gloves with either hand while disposing of the gloves in a conveniently attached recepticle. The usual way to take off latex gloves is to remove them by pulling them off at the wrist area using a contaminated gloved hand. Although this is the most common method used, the risk of getting and passing on infectious diseases is dramatically increased. With all of the new types of diseases being discovered, it is critical to take even more precautions. HIV, Hepatitis, staph infections, various viruses, and even the common cold can be contracted and transmitted from contaminated latex gloves under the right conditions. The L.E.G.R.D. was invented just for that reason, and is a very simple and easy to use invention that was designed to assist in helping to prevent the spread and contracting of infectous and harmful diseases.
